Today programming is figuring out how to get inputs on the sensor and they used sensors today to measure the rotation of the robot. CAD is helping out Fabrication to build the robot as well as adding constraints and finalized renders for the robot. Electronics is putting sensors on molly and also putting the panels on doc as well as assisting programmers to prepare sensors. Fabrication is going to assist electronics to put parts on as well as putting side covers for DOC, working on putting the “dogs” on, and they plan to mount the climbers.
On Monday the thirteenth programing worked with encoders for the shooter. Electronics mounted the gyros for programing and were making the electronics plate. Fabrication was setting up parts for powder coating and prototyping the ball funnel. CAD was working on small fixes and looking over the design.
Today marks the end of the fifth week of build season! Fabrication and CAD fixed the errors while assembling the robot yesterday. Electronics mounted the electronics plate, wired the plate, and were going to get the lexan plates. For the last two days, Programming is working on the vision code and working on DOC’s drive base. In addition, programming measured the lag in the vision code and built a mini target for the robot.
The Buchanan Bird Brains are hard at work during the fifth week of our build season. Our Science and Technology subgroups are determined to get things done this week as a new shipment of parts have arrived. The Computer Aided Design team (CAD) is creating more parts to help out Fabrication who is building the robot. Electronics is working on the panels for the pneumatic and electronic parts to put on doc and molly. Fabrication is hard at work to assemble the robot with the parts they already received so far. Programming is now tuning the codes for the robot’s movement to make it aligned with the visionary code requirements.
The past week for the members of Team 1671 has been very eventful with the lead up to the Super Bowl. CAD has been hard at work making revisions and assembling the components for the robot. Additionally, Electronics has received new parts to attach to the Lexon boards. Fabrication has also received new parts and are currently putting together the overall structure of the robot. Programming has set up a camera feed and they are working on the PID along with the motion profiling. Over on the IR side, Outreach and Media productions have been working on the Chairman’s binder. Internal Affairs has gathered the team’s demographic as well as film the team’s next vlog.
Today, the members of Programming were fixing their programming cables since there were connection problems between the PC and robot. Programming was also working on a way to tune the robot and place a properly working camera on the robot. On the Electronics side of ST, members were busy forming the layout of the electronics board for the robot. CAD members were putting the in final head shafts for both the elevator and intake while Fabrication was calculating possible positions for the second robot.
